Artist’s Statement

“Because I see edges, I draw them.

Because I see patterns, I interpret them.

Because I see color, I use it.

Because there is more than meets the eye,

I express it.

Because I like to create, I do.”

As an abstract painter I try to communicate hidden dimensions,
to show the connectedness of everything,
to create images that intrigue and stimulate.

My art is intended to be a visual conversation,
a medium of communication between me, based on my life story;
and you, based on yours.

If the effort is successful, a poem comes forth
a quatrain to open the door for a conversation.
